Not really in my neck of the woods!<br /><br /><br />My reusable bag collection, while large, seems to have stopped growing. I guess I shop even less than I used to, and many shops now don’t hand out these bags. But I have a growing collection of large plastic bags, larger than the standard supermarket ones as Fairprice gives me about 6-8 each time I make an order. If there’s any shop closer to the west that needs plastic bags, I’d love to donate them.</p>

My other reusable bag is a rayon roll-up bag that i keep with me all the time for lib books and use for carrying beach stuff when on holiday. Also due for replacement soon after 5 hardworking years. <br /><br /><br />I don't use or keep any other types of reusable bags.</blockquote></blockquote>I'm referring to the non-woven bags - the kind you can buy at supermarkets. They do break down after a while, but I get many more than 20 grocery trips (more like 80) out of them before I throw them away. I personally requested for my redmart purchase to come without plastics bags and we check and unload the purchase immediately and return the carton boxes to the delivery guy. But i never bought any wet products from them therefore i'm not sure if they will do the same for meat and vegetables.</blockquote></blockquote><br />I just got a reply from Honestbee that the drivers are supposed to take back the reusable bags, and they will be inspected and cleaned before reuse. I guess some drivers are unaware of this (or lazy!). I also find that the delivery people are impatient - will they wait for you unload your stuff? They always shove the things at me in a hurry and I doubt they will wait for me to unload. I don't think they can help it as they have very tight schedules. I used to keep the bags near my front door and return the bag from the last delivery to the driver when I get a new delivery, until recently when they stopped taking them back.
