One thing I am really glad is, both our families are not the ๆ–คๆ–ค่ฎก่พƒ type.


We both have more than 3 siblings on each side. So when it comes to buying stuff for them, be it souvenir or moon cake or Xmas presents, if it is one item per family, it is gonna cost a bomb.

Luckily, we don't have this problem except for Xmas n cny...that has to be individual gift.

For eg, the Lana cake he bought for his siblings...how to bring 4,5 cakes on plane...so just buy one n cut into quarters, one for each family. They don't mind cos small family...too much also wasted.

No I wasn't feeling great last month...so many quarrels with dh....we are trying to get used to living as a family again. With two kids thrown in, the problems became threefold.

On top of that, my maid's dad passed away n she went home for two weeks...me here, bad cook, got to take over kitchen...plus exam n tests for kids....

Anyway, things got better last week, mil went home this am with dh, maid came back, and I am going to Bangkok this weekend with my sis.

Guess it is gonna take a while before we get used to living together again. I am so used to doing my things my way in my house, he has his own way... ๐Ÿคท gotta adjust adjust adjust...
Oh... Does that mean your DH will be staying put here long term liao ? No more running two places ?

Why your MIL left? Thought you said she staying with you for good in your last post... Soli if I sound too Kay Poh ...

2 persons with different background come together already will need lots of adjustment , plus PIL, even more adjustment to be made.

It is good that you are taking a breather by going for a trip. I like Bangkok! Love to go chuk tu chuk (errr is that how it is spelt ? ๐Ÿคท ). Always visit the place to see see look look ...I miss the grass noodle with fishball - really taste yummy :drool:
