She’s not stress or something. It’s just her mannerism. So whenever we caught her plucking her hair we would remind her not to do it and she would then realize she’s about to do. It became a habit so she can’t do anything about it.</p>

Just like some kids who cut themselves to self-multilate. Don’t just look at the skin and say scarring is bad so stop it. <br /><br /><br />There is a usually a deeper root cause. Stress or frustration with something that they cannot voice out maybe? If the child not willing to confide in a family member then please find a third party counsellor. For the child’s sake before anything more dangerous happens.</p>

Or if you think there is a medical reason, take him to your GP.</p>
