So whenever we caught her plucking her hair we would remind her not to do it and she would then realize she’s about to do. It became a habit so she can’t do anything about it.

Don’t just look at the skin and say scarring is bad so stop it.


There is a usually a deeper root cause. Stress or frustration with something that they cannot voice out maybe? If the child not willing to confide in a family member then please find a third party counsellor. For the child’s sake before anything more dangerous happens.

Or if you think there is a medical reason, take him to your GP.
