Still, I only sent my child to the English seminar conducted by Ms Felicia in small groups. Still looking for similar small group workshops for Math. Anybody got any good recommendation?

Yes, the crash course was helpful since she went thru markers reports/comments that r 'secret' which I think some posters here r talking about. Not all school teachers go thru such reports. Maybe they r not allowed to? I know my daughter's school teacher didn't, luckily she still got A1 for English.

maylim1980

Reply to O-level Panic/Last Min Preparation Thread on Tue, 17 Oct 2017 05:14:16 GMT

I would give people the benefit of doubt for reading something inaccurately.

It’s alarming for people to start such insults.

The math one was a big group, so so lah I feel. It's good for an intensive 1 day revision. But the English one that my son went to was a small group of 5 students. The English one was much better because the teacher got some secret info and strategies to teach for O-level English.

jazzy817

Reply to O-level Panic/Last Min Preparation Thread on Sat, 14 Oct 2017 02:53:52 GMT

TheAnswer:
Supposed to be pretty relaxed for students who are well prepared.

I hope it's the case. but my boy really needs to whack on his head to wake up and face reality!!!
