<![CDATA[MapleBear Preschool]]>My son is with MB Tai Seng and us serving notice to withdraw from the school. Too many incidents happened which is unacceptable and my son has been telling me that he doesn’t like it too. He’s turning 3. Joined less than a year. A few incidents to share here, my son was found having fever when we fetching him from school. The teachers didn’t even aware of that. Pampers was not changed at all throughout the full day class. There was one day my son reached home complaining pampers very thick and tight, urged me to remove for him. Found out he was wearing 2 pampers 😓. Son bumped his head in the morning, teacher only informed after 3pm explained that my son was too excited during the Sing and dance session and bumped onto a cupboard corner by himself. When we went to the school at 4pm, the bump on his forehead was big and bruised. Teacher only said they already carry out first aid treatment with ice packs. Aren’t parents supposed to be informed immediately?

This include the sch owned by founder’s family. My friend’s child got hurt during sch hours due to negligence but the sch head did not take responsibility or apologise which is disappointing from a well known organisation

Think you need to be clear on which centre is attracting your anger. Google map reviews on individual centres may shed some light on the better ones. Ultimately it falls on parents to do their legwork

I urge you all to avoid Maple Bear St. Michael’s.

The other kids and parents in the schools will mare your experience here. First of all, getting in is such a chore. The building is ridiculously small and cannot accommodate drop-offs and pick-ups. There are always jams when you need to drop off your little one and hurry to work. Second of all, other parents are very rude and mean to each other for no reason. They lash out when waiting for their kids. The teachers are fine… questionable attitude though. I’m not even sure they have enough experience to teach/care for my baby boy. I’m sharing my experience even though this is an old post purely out of annoyance at what’s been going on. Long story short, take your kids elsewhere. Better yet, don’t choose a MapleBear.

I found the teachers there caring and professional. But one thing to add, I needed to supplement with enrichment outside as I do feel the school while fun and my kid enjoyed her time there, it is not enough to prepare them for P1.

Agree with stefhl! The school has been very proactive even during circuit breaker with lots of high quality activities sent home including a cookies decoration box for family bonding. 🤗 My older one graduated from Maple bear midview and younger ones have been there from 18 months old. Our family has been with the centre for over three years... we love the school and open communication with the principal and director. No complains about the cleanliness, in fact I find they upkeep pretty well. They have 2-3 cleaning staff and hardly any HFMD incidence... Don't recall any this year. The centre does professional sanitization often too...
