The trick with pinafore is when time for spot check, pull the uni straight. After spot check, blouse it out to your desired length. šŸ˜‰

daughter's pinafore is actually straight...some girls will loosen the folds by pulling out front and back. the discipline mistress walks around the school. earring must be 3mm...bigger than that, have to remove. it's stricter now than my time, but i have no complaints.

DSā€™ second year in this school, so it was pretty much auto-pilot for us. I noticed fewer cars than usual driving in at the usual time...because most parents chose to park & walk the kids in...and lingering in the foyer area to say their encouraging goodbyes lol.


After I dropped off DS reminding him where to assemble, back home & closing my eyes...then suddenly realized I forgot to tell him which pick up point I will pick him up from after school wahahahahhaa...guess it will be ā€œtreasure huntā€ among the crowd later!

Thankful your DS is safe and not lost. Just read a report of a boy went lost & ended up in Bugis. He was given instructions but guess sth else on his young mind. Can empthatise with working parents. Pray all our kids (esp the young ones) are safe and enjoying school and friends.

Oh yah! They used to go around in their Barbie dress when they are out of school :love:

not barbie dress but maternity dress! or else the belt will be way below the waist.
discipline mistress is very ON. during my time after PE, we can wear the tee and shorts to wind down but now pinafore has to be worn immediately. no such thing as pinafore 5 cm above knee.

Anyway, nowadays EQ is more important to be successful. It's all about networking and making the right connections. With a supportive boss, even letting a terrorist escape, or let the nationwide trains infrastructure crippled also no problem and continue to receive insane bonuses. Don't know how to solve problem doesn't matter at all. :evil:
problem is, that paper is still necessary to open doors. i hope she can go to the poly. she is not afraid of blood while the rest of us will run asap. she can be a nurse though....but don't know if she wants to.

her classmate bent down on the floor in the science lab with the textbook and whispered the answer to daughter. when the teacher asked why the girl sitting beside daughter was missing, the girl said she was having problems picking a coin...really salute her intelligence.

she had to get a tooth extracted yesterday and had a headache last night (zombie being first day of school+jab at the dentist). knocked out at 830pm yesterday and didn't read up the chapter. got tested today and was naturally unable to answer the question.
