Trump is all about bravado and exaggeration. He talks a good game but he is what Americans will call all hat, no cattle. This summit was put together so hastily with very little preparation, you have to wonder what's the real purpose of it (me thinks: Trump wants to shake hands, get his photo op and boast about how he is contributing to world peace). Kim isn't some idiot. He is under no political threat back home. Trump could be gone in 2 years, or longest, 6 years. Kim is going to be around longer than that. He is never going to let Trump 'win' without getting major concessions from the US.

Years back my colleagues used to joke Americans are IBM (Int’l Big Mouths) and wld put weight on everyone coz they were then a super-power. Guess, they’ll hv to get use to a new world order when China rise to the occasion. When I first visited the US aeons back, my eyes was really opened to how the majority of Americans are living below borderline & many hv not travelled to Asia to know what Asians are as a whole.

Brought me to be thankful we do not see vagabonds lining the streets & our GDP is comparable (higher) than the US. We hv a strong govt, a strong economy, a highly educated & connected workforce.

The state of America lend them in such a state & I’m also mindful with more vocal ppl, if we’ll not often thankful for our peace & prosperity & complain enuf, we might just hv some not careful vote in aka Trump kind of govt. shudder... :nailbite:

United States President Donald Trump said he plans to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un for a two-day summit in Vietnam on February 27 and 28.
