There are those who chooses to take the easy way out.  Usually, these are the ones who may not raise in career so fast? I know our incumbent was doing very well, until he went into politics. Then, kah ghia don’t want to support him &amp; play punk with delivery.<br /><br /><br />In my corporate experience, had come across some scholars who are good behind desk work but just 没有人缘 &amp; boss just don’t like the face &amp; ask my boss to sack him. My boss got us to drive thro orgn to find a suitable transfer. Boss hv a good heart as a young man with family to feed &amp; hv no disciplinary issues. Today, the ‘saved’ engineer running his team in highly profitable China joint-venture, still contributing to the same orgn. That other head is long gone.<br /><br />I do agree that organizations shld not just promote any personnel based on academic achievements. Entry level guys may rely solely on it w/o benefit of any career track records. However, a higher level job will need to train the fellow for ppl skills esp in todays context owise ppl will be promoted out of their competency. This is simply the Peter’s Principle of staff mobility.<br /><br />Those moving to higher level jobs &amp; who get things done need ppl skills &amp; not all of us are cut out for it. Similarly, those running at higher level is limited in leadership if there is no technical competency to earn subordinate’s respect.</p>

The actual differences between the two may be subtle, but they are still not quite the same. I agree that the campaign may have been effective in pushing the local MP to file the motion to conserve key areas of Dakota Crescent and subsequently, the catalyst (I hope, but nevermind lah, give them some credit) behind the decision by MND to \"adaptive reuse\" some of the old blocks, amenities and community spaces. As a man who had done 2.5 years of NS coupled with completing my reservist, I can tell u that for those who have been inside their own bubble for too long, their thinking is often warped, so they lack the flexibility to adjust their thinking. <br /><br />This is my personal feel that I think resonates with some of my peers, be they 30 or 70%:<br /><br />Many of these appointments are parachuted in without prior knowledge about the field they r taking over. When I asked whether they spoke to the person in charge, I was told no point doing so, the person wont listen. I do not understand my boys’ rationale.</p>
