Some were purchased directly from US and some through the Amazon. I happened to buy the bundle series while browsing the books at popular bookstore one day. Thereafter, my DS shows great improvement in blending and started to read simple sentences after watching the VCDs. I do find it great to help the kids to remember sight words. I use it simultaneously with cards. <br /><br />Not flashing, but take a card out of the words and get him read after me. Usually 2-4 words per week or two. <br /><br />I use EPH-high frequency words (Popular) and Peter and Jane. The result is good. My 4.5yo isn't interested in P&amp;J but i see great improvement. I just need to bribe him on every page he reads. <br /><br />You can download sight words free here with Robot as background. <br /><br /><a href="http://filefolderfun.com/SubjectRobots.html">http://filefolderfun.com/SubjectRobots.html</a><br /><br />I have friends who teach their kids with story books. You may want to try it. Get simple or books with repeated words, get him/her to read. Also incorporate the mystery bag game as suggested by buds.  Ds loves that part v v much (read that buds!)
