He didn't attend childcare or preschool before going to primary school, because he enjoys learning ahead and on his own, so I don't teach him as well, just supported him with meals, snacks and books. The only reason why we let him start primary school instead of homeschooling is because he enjoys the company of other kids, and also to be eligible for GEP in P3. Sorry for the lengthy post. I have bottled up quite abit. 😅🤭

revils_ling

Reply to GEP 2019 on Thu, 20 Aug 2020 09:11:21 GMT

wow

thanks for the info on the books - you did more research than me already.
will check it out tonight

my boy reads quite a big thus I am not too worried about the ENG part of the test
Math - he does generally OK in school but certainly not being exposed to the more laterally thinking type of math questions (therefore I am trying to fill the gaps - kiasu a bit)

I also found out that there are weekly Preparatory classes for P2 and P3 kids
but too expensive already - cannot commit.

revils_ling\" post_id=\"1992040\" time=\"1597908083\" user_id=\"136480:
I remember coming across a post on this thread/forum that provided a link to a blog, where a parent shared about the test format for English, Math and GA.
