Motherhood is like sailing the uncharted sea. I am glad forum like this exists. However, I vaguely remember someone mentioned that one shouldn't take the advice offered in this forum seriously. Cos not sure whether parents will provide false information to distract competitors in primary 1 registration 😐 Anyway, just a thought hehe.

I have two boys, 2y+ and 8mo. I hope to get them into ACS primary. I have no lobang, am not a catholic/christian, don't go to church or hokkien clan gathering and my husband is not ex ACS. I decide to take the traditional route, buy a house within a stone's throw away from ACS and ballot in Phase 2C. Stupid hor?

Why only consider ACS?
Most of our family friends are ex acs. We are so used to acs stories that I can't think of any other schools for my kids. Basically just lazy to get to know other better schools. 😛

I can identify w wat u say abt the advice here; if u follow blindly, you may become super kiasu n your kid? superstressed. But I seriously doubt that parents here will deliberately toss u some false info to mislead u. Most of us are nice but not competitive kiasu parents.
😄 Just a thought only... I am already very kiasu before I found this forum. I feel at home here in kiasu parents club.
