Yes.

Canossa Catholic primary is getting more popular. Also, quite a good number of P6 girls who did well in PSLE, entered Cedar Girls Secondary school nearby, in both IP + O-level track. Some also entered by DSA (P6).


So, by end of Phase 2C, co-ed Canossa Catholic primary became full house, no need to enter anymore Phase 2C Supplementary. Same as Geylang Methodist primary school. That is, by end of Phase 2C, also full house.

Canossa Catholic is no longer an All-girls' primary school. She is also co-ed, the same as Geylang Methodist primary.


Thus,
parents with K2 kindergarten children (sons & daughters) due for Primary 1 registration (enrollment), staying nearby in

Macpherson, Joo Seng, Geylang / Aljunied, can consider sending your children here, into this school (Canossa Catholic primary).

ccps is an excellent school! there are 3 classes in each level , faith, humility and charity. my 6 years in ccps were definitely enjoyable and enriching. small cohort sizes meant that the environment was VERY cozy. everyone knew each other, really. thats also why its extremely easy to score top 10% in ccps and a lot of opportunities to shine. we also just moved into our new campus in 2015, so the school is well equipped, i would say. now im a sec 1 in CHIJ St Nicks and ive never regretted going to ccps. it also emphasises on the 3Cs, compassion, commitment, compassion, and the girls grow up with strong moral values!! except that next year ccps will be co-ed, but nevertheless it will always be the cozy, caring environment i grew up in. teachers knew you well, and this year's principal is excellent. she gives plenty of opportunities for the students. like they get to go to malacca for immersion etc. we never had this experience and as much as i love ms tan, mrs eugenie tan is definitely a principal as good, if not better than ms tan. our psle scores are also very good!!

since CCPS going to accept boys into this school, are they going to increase more P1 classes, starting 2019 intake ?

Went to the open house at Canossa Convent today. Nice cosy school and was impressed by how they got P2 girls to bring parents around the school for a guided walk. The girls were all very confident and articulate.

Anyone else went to the open house?

Still deciding between Haig Girls, CHIJ (Katong) and Canossa Convent for my DD. Any views?

Canossa Convent Primary is having its Open House on 1 July 2017 (Saturday).

I hear they have a very comprehensive values-centric programme to inculcate values in our girls. What I especially like is the supportive and inclusive environment as the CCPS girls work and play alongside the Canossian School (hearing impaired) girls so they become more nurturing and compassionate as a result. The class sizes are smaller than at most schools so the teachers can pay greater attention to each child.

I'm excited to go to their Open House this Saturday. Hope to see many like-minded parents there! 🙂

Your daughter will have lots of opportunities to shine eg leadership roles, Prefect appointments, Edusave Awards etc. They are well organised, and they keep parents in the loop often. The girls are well brought up with emphasis on developing good character e.g. politeness, manners. Studies wise, it is fair. Not too rigorous, not too slack. If Chinese is your MT, it gets more rigorous in P5 & P6, so beware. All for the good of the child in a much dreaded subject. Their top scorer in 2016 is 274 which ranks pretty high. My 2 daughters are educated here. One in P6 and one in Sec 1 now. I have sons too in other schools so my view is in comparison with those schools. Overall, I cannot think of a better place to send my daughters to.
