For each & everyday the helper is ‘lingering’ in SG, the eyer is responsible for all related expenses - cost of replacement ticket for missed flight, health related expenses & additional accommodation or accident related expenses (almost all under the sun). So it’s best to ensure they enter that “Departure Gate”. The ICA will ensure the helper boards thereafter. It’ll be an offense to miss flights or linger at the airport.

You will be issued a 30-day Short Term Visit Pass (STVP), which will allow you to temporarily stay in Singapore.

robertcladner55

Reply to After cancelling Maid's WP, how many days is allowed to stay in Singapore? on Mon, 23 Nov 2020 02:25:09 GMT

My helper had returned back to Indonesia yesterday. I requested for health certificate from local GP for her to bring back to Indonesia. The Indonesia immigration did not look at the health certificate at all. She only need to go for swab test on the next day. Just sharing to members here who intend to send helper back to Indonesia. This information might be useful.

The date available for selection is only up to 14 days. I have cancelled her WP and purchase the air ticket. The next thing, I find the requirement of travelling back to Indonesia is not clear. Will the airline require additional test from local GP for my helper to be deemed fit for travel? I hope there is a member here whose helper returned back to Indonesia recently can share her experience to me.

star89

Reply to After cancelling Maid's WP, how many days is allowed to stay in Singapore? on Mon, 26 Oct 2020 09:48:46 GMT

star89\" post_id=\"2000325\" time=\"1603694024\" user_id=\"8134:

I am about to cancel my maid's work permit.
