If you like affiliation, then you may like to monitor St Gab's in Serangoon and Montfort in Hougang.

But i heard St.Gab is not a good school and i would like my son to go to a mixed school. Because my son is already a rough boy and if i put him in a boys school he will get even more rough. So i chose KCPPS. it is a very hard situation for me since i am a PR.

Not sure if Kuo chuan has affiliation to the sec school? If so, this gives it added advantage over yangzheng.


My hairstylist's ds didn't make it to catholic high sec through affiliation and went to Kuo chuan instead. The last I heard was his son is doing well and happy in the sec school.

Didnt know kuo chuan is within 1 km from lor chuan.I thought it is more than 1 km . It is church based school where as Yang Zheng is more of govt sch.

Since u are a PR , the distance doesn't matter. Priority will be given to spore citizens first even if the spore citizen stays as far as Jurong.
Based on last year record, both schools need balloting at 2C . Assuming those need balloting are spore citizens , u will have no chance to be balloted at all. U are behind the queue of spore citizens irregardless of the fact that u stay within 1 km.

U may want to go for school like zhong hua that need no balloting at all . But not sure about this year as the number of vacancy seems to be cut .There may be balloting even at zhong hua. But traditionally , it is not as popular
as yangzheng or kuo chuan.

Hi guys my daughter is from St. Margs Sec now and was in St.Margs Primary. She graduated 2 yrs ago n she is sec 2. So i am just posting my opinions here. School is basically very good. There is lots of homework but my daughter was able to cope. She went to the best classes P6 Kindness and in her class more than half scored 250+ and the next top class P6 Patience scored about the same lots of 250+. CCA wise its very good especially choir. Hope i have helped
