Hello allThought I'd share some science websites we'd been using recently. I've found that these are useful in helping me to answer my kids' relentless questioning. (I couldn't find a relevant thread on this, but please point me in the right direction if one exists.)Oh, btw I don't know if these are at all helpful for primary science curriculumn since my oldest is just 7yo, but for general interest they are pretty fun to browse For kids:-http://spacekids.hq.nasa.gov/osskids/index.htmlhttp://kids.nationalgeographic.com/kids/animals/creaturefeature/http://www.britishmuseum.org/explore/young_explorers/discover.aspxhttp://www.amnh.org/ology/index.php?channel=earthhttp://www.eia.doe.gov/kids/index.cfmhttp://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/justforkids/http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/buildingbig/index.htmlhttp://www.hhmi.org/coolscience/http://www.hhmi.org/coolscience/forkids/More for grownups and perhaps older kids:-http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/body/http://www.dnai.org/http://school.discoveryeducation.com/homeworkhelp/science/science_homework_help.htmlhttp://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/evolution/whos-who-human-evolution.htmlhttp://www.mnh.si.edu/education/classroom_resources/teachersandclassrooms/index.htmlhttp://science.howstuffworks.com/Note: if you have certain religious beliefs, you may want to ignore the evolution stuff since there may be potential conflict. Please add on if you have other great resources, thank you!

I think each child is gifted differently one to another. It's a blessing for those who have children who could help with house cores but those whose don't.... please don't force them. They will...oneday... could do these works, even in my family, my DD could not do much about that but my DS start to cook his lunch or dinner every weekend since he was 8. At first we were quite worried of him being cut by knife or burned, but he is very carefull with that and he cooks more difficult menu from time to time.

jenni:I also wish to know whether a 22 months old child should be able to do 2-3 pcs puzzles?DS1 could do 2 piece-puzzles by 18 months and simple puzzles (up to 6 pieces) when he was about 2 years old. But DD2 could do it later and is less interested in puzzles. It depends on the kid. Just expose them and teach them. It is hard in the beginning. But once they get it, they can progress very fast
