DHS offer High Chinese where NJC don't. However some people say Junior colleague of NJC is better than DHS. It is in fact a compulsory subject (as in, every student has to take Higher Mother Tongue, not like some schools whereby only the 'better' students are given the chance to take).

My dd scored 255+2HMT, 3A* and an A. She still wants to try for NYGH, RGS, NJC, followed by St Nics.

Seems so risky - I would happily settle for St Nics, as it will be walking distance from our home when the sch move back in 2012. But she still wants to try! But I'm thankful for her results, as she is the cool as cucumber type

I am current NJC student and a friend of mine was rejected by my school at first but appealed successfully with the same score last year. Nevertheless, very good luck to your daughter
