My child got 205 and after much discussion, child decided only with Hougang Sec 205 and Yio Chu Kang Sec 189.
Is it normal to put 2 choices only as child think if couldn't get to HGS will sure fall into YCKSS so not willingly to have more options?

Any parents have review for Serangoon Sec (194) and Serangoon Garden Sec (188)?
Child not keen in Serangoon Sec but I still hoping to get some reviews for both above schools so that child can re-consider.

I will try to talk to child again to put more options.
As this is our first time on the PSLE sch selection, sorry for silly questions.
I want to find out so if say child's intention is only either Hougang Sec 205 or Yio Chu Kang Sec 189 but we want to use up the 6 options. If we put like below, what are the chances to be able to go to YCKSS if can't go in to Hougang Sec:

1) Hougang Sec 205
2) Yio Chu Kang Sec 189
3) Seng Kang Sec 209
4) Punggol Sec 205
5) Serangoon Sec 194
6) Serangoon Garden Sec 188

Will the above placing cause the child to secure a place in say Punggol Sec if cannot secure a place in Hougang Sec and Seng Kang Sec?

A lot of Sch are not gear up for Long term e learning,
The resources only able to sustain few days
Imagine so many students log on at same time, need to stagger , Teachers must faster get materials up to upload.. sch still have a lot a lot to prep
Thru this lesson, our system need to learn like Taiwan leant fr SARS period. Step up our tech every where fr health care, Sch e learnings etc

Unluckily , a close colleague of mine got shn , the family went JB to visit parents then back on 15 March , my org being kiasu also make her LOA, & we have been contact with her till Friday at work. where by MOE gave notice on thurs.

It’s okay, I didn’t think too much into it, it’s my bad. Hope the info was useful to you, though it’s only accurate for this year’s Sec 3, guess can give you some idea. All the best for your girls PSLE!
