Some tips I learned before engaging any pest control company:

1. Credibility and years of experience
2. Warranty - if pest problems comes back again, do they provide warranty to eliminate the problem again?
3. License and quality standard
4. Is their insecticides and baits safe to use especially for homes with children (babies) and pets?
5. What if I’m unhappy with the end result? Any replacement work done or compensation?

Compare at least 2-3 companies to make sure you are not getting ripped off/overcharged. Be clear of the final outcome with them.

How would you choose a mover? I can't seem to be able to find any review on movers in Singapore. I have shortlisted a few, Shalom, KNT Movers and The Helping Hand but not sure which one to go for. In Singapore my experience is that many movers charge differently. Example: some companies charge by per hour, others charge by per trips. Yet others charge by the lorry and manpower used.

**Caution: I'm always careful on hiring companies on per hour basis as there's more room for them to rip off clients (they can report 8 hours for 6 hours of work for example).
