Sorry, my mistake. Correct one is 戊 and 己 both symbolizes Earth, one is yang Earth and the other is a ying Earth. 壬 is yang wanter while 癸 is a ying water.

BTW Chief, I thought this thread is on "About fengshui and supernatural stuff"

I have a combination of both to tell.

My MIL has stayed in their 3rm flat for the past 30 yrs. She has always been complaining of people doing black-magic on her - she blamed it on those who had grudges against her. She said she would heard man voices shouting at her in her bedroom. She is staying with my FIL only.

She had tried to get as many temple mediums to help her, one even suggested of doing a "chao du" for her late MIL - which cost us a total of $10K+ because it was a 3 days event - like those doing funeral wake.

Then she got another one to check on her guan yin alter - so she also listened to them, bought a new guan yin and had a new altar table.

Then a year ago, she complained of chestpain. She even looked very pale. So we decided to send her to SGH, she stayed for 7 days but still reports show all normal.

When she got home she started to get worse, she said the "man" kept cursing her to die, and even tried to "strangle" her while she was sleeping. All these while, my FIL only complained once, he was sleeping in the living room when he saw a dark figure walking pass him.

Their question is why the black figure able to come into their house? When they have the "tian gong" and guan yin around.

Anyway I got my fengshui master to help her. The rest of the details too long… so I cut it short here… After all settled, my MIL sent the guan yin and tian gong to the temple, discard the altar… She even said that that "man" came to her one night and told her she had won.

So far, never hear her complaining about the dreams, dark figures, "man", etc…

She is now more cheerful and lively. She still pray at temple.

earth is yang, yin is wood, etc.??

Actually, there is always a ying and yang earth, ying and yang water, etc. The BaZi is based on the year, month, date and time we are born. E.g. today 22 May 2009 at 11pm, the Bazi is 壬子,戊辰,己巳,己丑。 These are the four pillars of each's BAZI, in sequence of time, date, month and year.

戊 and 己 both symbolizes wood, one is yang wood and the other is a ying wood. 壬 is yang wanter while 癸 is a ying water. Of course, the ying ones are the slightly weaker one compared to the yang ones. But it doesn't mean that the person is very very weak. It look at the day master which is 戊 and whether its energy is depleted by the month 巳 and time 子 or not, or on contrary, whether the 巳 and 子 and other characters help to give the day master energy...

very chim hor.. I also not very good at it.

Ya, I was actually thinking of asking tanzyjac if her birthdate is very yin.

I don't think my birthdate is very yin, I always visit this fengshui master, didn't hear her mentioning.

I understand alittle on TongShu... I think those not good days are the '破日‘- I heard my MIL complaining because one of my nephew is born on this day. She said alot of bad lucks will fall on him - I don't know if it's true. My DH is born on this day - so far so good for him lor but no toto/4D lucks, career wise ok.

Well, I think I had a brush with the yin things was because I had angered them. Remember my earlier posts on how I witnessed my father's sudden death? He was on a lying down position and using his hands to push something away from his chest. He died less than 1 minute later. The post-mortem result was he had died of respiratory failure.

As I had withnessed the whole event, I started to \"scold\" those beings - cursed them... that's why when I was sleeping near my father's altar not long later, those few black figures came wanting to bring me to my father.

So, I always tell my daughter, do not curse and swear at anyone.

      Thanks Chief…

One thing though, when one is extremely down or in chinese we called ‘down on lucks’, we are bound to come into the same frequency as those thingy.

So, I always remind myself to be positive… I had enough of those beings so I would rather not cross their path again.

But then, I still have quite a few encounters… though not as scary as those incidents that happened in Bt Merah.

And I try to avoid late nights out during the 7th lunar month… cos’ I have the tendency to feel their presence.

... I heard someone taking out a file and flipping through the pages outside my office. I assumed it was a colleague who was also working late...

I just joined this company in Kallang. The company used to occupy the whole of 2 top floors in a JTC factory. When I joined, most of the departments have already relocated to the main office in another estate, only the department I worked in and HR office left. My department used to be quite big, catered to about 15 pepole but most of them have moved out leaving 5 of us around. Each of us has our own workstation surrounded by U-shaped cubicle about 1.5m tall partition tall.

There is one cubicle behind me. Another facing the entrance to my cubicle. There was this day when my \"fatty\" colleague opposite mine was on leave. In the late afternoon, I saw this skinny lady in white gown flipping thru my colleague's file. I didn't dare to shout at her to stop, so I called on my another collegue's whose workstation was behind mine. She came to my cubicle, when I told her, she turned to face that cubicle but didn't see anyone there. When she turned back to talk to me, this white figure stood at my cubicle's entrance and stared at me. Her face was very pale, the moment I screamed, she dissappeared.

My colleague knew something was wrong and we asked for permission to leave the office earlier that day. We went to the HR department and told one of the colleagues there... She said she had heard that there was this femaile colleague who could not take the stress from her superiors so she jumped down from that building.

I was then on sick leave for the next few days... for whatever reason I forgotten... but maybe I just didn't want to go back that office again. I quit a week later.

My late mum who was 59yo, had no health ailment. She felt breathlessness on few days before we sent her to TTSH on 25 Dec 2008. On 3 Jan, docs said she was suffering from end stage cancer. And only on the 6 Jan, they said all scans showed she suffered from lung cancer, with cancerous cells in brain and liver. They started to treat her with a chemo drug on 9Jan, and that evening she fell into coma, passed away on 16Jan.

We had chosen those half glass panel coffin. We missed her badly because her death has took all of us so suddenly. When she was still awake during her stay in hospital, we had told her we would get the reunion dinner food ready, with shark’s fin and abalone…

We decided a 5days wake for her. All the 4 of us stayed through the 4 nights, my sis, bros and me would take turn in pairs to stay awake. One of us would sit next to the coffin to burn joss papers. Alot of times, we would even walked near to the coffin to look at our mum and talked to her.

On the 3rd evening, I could not do that anymore… There was a strong presence of the yin around me, even though my sis and bros were all with me. I sensed some beings were going round the coffin and praying their respects to my mum. My sis urged me to go near the coffin to burn joss papers. I kept shaking my head. It was only after sunrise, I told her what had happened. She brushed it aside. It was also at this time, then I dared to go near my mum’s coffin again.

I suspected what I went through that night is real. Maybe my late dad and grandparents have came to visit my mum, or maybe there were some curious onlookers then…

In 1988, HDB sent us a letter asking us to relocate. The reason was they were upgrading this block and the surrounding blocks. The whole block was cordoned off after all tenants moved out in 1989. I passed by this place many times and only in 1990 odd, HDB tore down only this one block and reduced it to merely green grass patches... but I wondered why the neighbouring one room rental blocks were not touched. They were only upgraded in 2000...

:!: Geez, maybe there were some 'dark forces' which prevented the place from being torn down...

Yes, please share where it is... must make sure I don't end up staying there.. 🙏

... it's at Bukit Merah View near a temple, opposite Henderson Sec Sch... once u are around this area, you can find the block easily... because it is the only 1 new block among the rest which are more than 30yrs old.

The one room rental block we used to stay was probably very yin. This block was built in 1974, we moved in at the same time. In our 17 yrs of stay there, wierd things happened.

There was this lift repairman who got hang by the lift cables while repairing the lift - I saw his body being carried out of the lift shaft… then there was this female neighbour who threw her 2 young boys out of opposite block’s corridor, then jumped down herself… then, my indian neighbour had their pots and pans floating in the air… and then old man jumped down from our flat, another old folk died in his house for no reason… and I also witnessed a dying neighbour being stabbed by his older bro…

Could not go on the list… now my heart is beating faster and faster…

Only few years ago, maybe 2003/4, a new block of one room rental flat sprung up on the same ground, with a new look and fewer units per block… but with the same block number.
