Would like to ask is there a possibility to transfer from one primary school to another one. My son in p2 next year. I wish I can transfer him to pei hwa preb. Any advice how to approach this matter? Thanks

My DS2 just got a chance for assessment. If pass, he can then join the K2 class next year.
Assessment requirements:
1. Spelling (10 words)
2. Copy a short paragraph (test for speed, penmanship, accuracy)
3. Attitude, attention span & Conduct (for 90 min)
Sound real strict. But will let him have a try.
Anyone can let me know, is there a lot of homework?

Yes. It is for beginner. Am quite hesitate to go with Keyboard as the feel and strength is diff.

Hi, Anyone has experience on both Hailun piano and U1 Yamaha in terms technical?


Here’s the quotation I obtained:
1. Hailun -HL125 (upright Grand) SGD3500- Brand New - 5 years buy back at 50%
2. Yamaha U1 - SGD4500 - 20 years - 2years buy back at 50%. If 3 years than buy back at 40% and each year decrease 10%.

I am comtemplating to start my sons (5yo and 7yo) with music lessons, may be piano, as learning piano is most transferable skill to other instruments, am I right?
My boys have not attended any piano lessons before, I wish to expose them to this structure learning of music as I heard it can help developing attention span, discipline and be more gentle, true?
Should I start them with the music school (1 term) then get a pte tutor?
Any good school to recomend? Any good tutor to recommend? I am staying in Bt Batok.
