Hi i would like to share my experience with MFS at wwp. I was thrilled to get a slot at wwp as it is very conveniently located (near mrt) and the facilities look big and clean.

However, appearance can be deceiving. There are about 20 children in the class with 3 teachers. The teachers (at least for my son class) are unfriendly and do not know how to connect with the kids. Parents are allowed to accompany the child for the first 3 days in school. I thought this would be the best opportunity for the teachers to build bond with the child before the parent let the child attend the classes alone. However, this does not seem to be the views of the teachers. When parent is around, the teachers very much leave the child to the parent without any attempt to bond with the kid at all.

On the day of school when parent finally has to "let go" to let the child attend the school himself, the teacher just grabbed and carry the child into the classroom after checking the temperature, leaving the aparent and the child in a shock, and obviously the child was wailing loudly. There was no attempt to pacify the child. I was appalled that the teacher did not even allow me to coax the child before she grabbed him into the class.

The school did not inform us that there was a outbreak of hfmd when we registered to enrol in the school. It was after we attended the school for two days that we received email on the outbreak. By then, it was too late. My son developed fever and had bacteria infection after attending school.

While accompanying my kid in school, i notice that they did not change the diaper of a child immediately (poo smell) and this may cause the spread of bacteria.

Also, during meal time, when i requested for a second bowl of noodles for my son, the teacher said they did not have much leftover. But when i looked around subsequently, i saw teachers helping themselves to the pot noodles prepared for the kids. Then i walked past the pot and saw that there were still a quarter pot of noodles left. It seems like the teacher was trying to save some food for herself.

Overall, i am very disappointed with the school.
