    • RE: DSA 2020 - NUSH

Shld I change my dsa to scgs from English to leadership? I heard from my friend at scgs that they prefer non academic for dsa. I participated in PESA and scrabble competition for English and I am just a normal prefect in a uniformed group. Would my chances be higher?

    • RE: 2020 PSLE Discussions and Strategies(for those born in 2008)

Hello! I’m a student here, taking psle this year. My current t score is about a high 230+ to 240. I’m hoping to boost it to a high 250+ to a low 260+ in these few months. My weaknesses are mostly math and Chinese, with math being relatively easy to improve, but Chinese not so much. I’m hoping to land myself in a IP school. Any advice for me to study ‘smart’?

I guess basically study tips that will allow me to score in the 250+ range. A high 250+ to a low 260+ will be ideal for me. Right now I am open to all IP schools(I'm really intent on IP) and will consider my options 🙂 for dsa I am trying my luck, so I am aiming a bit higher. I don't necessarily need tips on what the school is looking for, what would be most helpful is study tips which will help me boost my score no matter how harsh and how low im scoring right now. (230-240 range)

By studying smart, what advice do you all have for me? And yes, now that I have thought about it, if I do end up going to a top school, I may not be able to cope and end up failing and I do know the consequences for that.

I guess I’ll just try my shot at the dsa this year. To me, I feel like if I just work hard, the T Score will get me in my dream school.

Thank you all for the advice once again. Although there’s mixed opinions, Overall I believe that with hard work, ill make it into a good school in the end. Thank you!

If they do look into prelim results this year, if I score about a 250+ , will they still consider me?
