I am also a mummy of 2 gals, 6 and 3. My elder one got in Juying. I am a working mum and my mum, who also stays in st 61 takes care of the 2 girls. For Juying, I can send my girl to school in the am since it is single session, and my mum can take bus 241 to fetch her (after fetching my younger one from nursery). The other alternative would be school bus.
Heartbreaker, are you a working mum too? If your mum is taking care of the girls, then BLGP could be a better choice. If not, Juying is quite accessible too - bus 241. If it is Corporation, then bus 185. If not, then school bus.
I thought Phase 3 is next Friday?

Blurmom:
prob reg at juying first and then go jurong west to put on waitlist.... but to transfer after school term starts could be disruptive right? xingnan only left 24 vacancies, and i am beyond 1 km already, chances must be very slim.mine din get in too haiz... which one you going for ? both not convenient got to take 2 buses from our hse, so school bus is a must.
haiz headache, nx yr expenses go higher. -

Thanks for reminding, FMz.
Yes, they have to get up early sooner or later.
Was hoping to get a school within short walking distance…
Is Juying better than Xingnan and Pioneer?
Shd I just go for Juying in Ph 2C suppl, if I really need to go for that phase… sigh. -
RE: [Jurong West] Primary Schools
I have registered for jw. within 1km and keeping my fingers crossed. my priority is nearest distance to my mum’s place, so is only jw or west grove (which is further).
2nd choice, either xingnan, pioneer or juying. but all beyond 1km. i know juying shdn’t be a prob, looking at its historical trends, but it is single session, so the kids need to wake up very early for all 6 years! wonder if xingnan or pioneer will need to ballot for ph 2c suppl.
