I think it's really subjective in opinions. My boy is in P4 this year, some of his subject teachers this year are real good (e.g.: Maths). He doesn't dislike Chinese now too (thanks to his Chinese teacher who gives encouragement). Last year while in P3, his Chinese teacher sucks! He hates his Mother Tongue lessons last year! It really depends on which teachers your child will get in his/her class.

If your child is placed in Student Care after school, the homework will be finished in the Student Care Centre, so rarely any homework to be completed at home (occasionally there will be online homework to be completed at short deadlines). More online homework will be assigned especially when there's a stretch of long holiday breaks to keep the students occupied.

Hi,
Student care centres are limited choices. You can try Mainspring or My Little Campus, the teachers go to the school to walk the students back to the student care centres during dismissal times.

so when the P2 Holistic Assessment talks held for parents are not really useful. defeats the whole purpose of the briefing objective.

Can clarify what do you mean by a few with 120 are inside 3A and scored less than 80 are not in 3A or 3B?

Where does the 120 or 80 come from? Where is the cut off point then?

Surprising to hear that even the weaker students are placed in class 3A. Hopefully the Principal knows and is changing the guidelines, else it will be a challenge to the weaker students. : (

Any parents know how the P2 children are band into their P3 classes?

My boy going to P3 next year and I have his P1 & P2 textbooks (Chinese & Maths) to sell half price. Basically Math textbooks are not even used at all! Same Math teacher taught him in P1 & P2, did not use the textbooks as a guide to teach them.
