Tips to share on car ride with kids…
Tips on Fun Family Activities in car rides:
Spot the car game.
- Agreed on a car brand or model before the ride.
- Kids observation skills are explored extensively.
- A variation could be using Chinese to describe the car location or the speed of the car.
Play I Spy.
- Say “I spy something greenish colored” or “I spy something that begins with the letter D.”
- Kids love to play guessing games, and won’t even realize they’re learning.
Build your child vocabulary.
Ask him to form the longest word or best score in Scrabble eg. “encyclopedia,” and then explain what it is and how it’s used in a sentence.

RE: All About Preparing For PSLE
You may like to focus on examination strategy for your son. Since the distribution of marks in Science paper is heavy on Section A (60marks), you may like him to focus on getting close to full mark for Section A. Give him a 30 mins challenge on Section A. Review his answer and analyse which is/are the topics which he is weak.
As for Section B, if his language is not strong, it is normal to be weak in open-ended questions. -
Daddy-in-Charge
Hi Everyone,
I am the newbies and like to introduce myself to everyone.
I decided to leave the corporate world in return to spend more time with my beautiful wife and 3 lovely kids. Just like some of you, I used to work 18 hours a day and traveled 80% of my time out of Singapore. Some of my friends commented that I faced mid-life crisis when I made this decision last year.
I never regret my decision and happily living my days with closer kids relationship. Since I had been handling the kids academic results, it was a natural path to move from corporate world to full time tutor. After working with parents in our center for more than a year, I decided to share my experiences as a parent, who used to struggle on work life balance, on the tips and tricks of handling my kids school homeworks.
I will publish my blog next month and hope to update everyone next month.
