Actually the conversation rate last year was quite high. Almost all the girls in my DD's school was converted from WL to CO.

Last year many got CO from both NYGH and RGS so there will be a fair number who prefer one over the other.

I do know of a few girls who had their RGS WL converted to CO (from 2 separate domains: Academic and Visual Arts), so it is definitely possible. In any case, there is really nothing much you can do now except put it (WL) as first choice, and study hard for PSLE By the way, getting a WL from RGS is already no mean feat. Great job!

The strong competitors to RGS, are the 2 giant : NUS High and Nanyang Girls High

Unless RGS CO recipients choose to give up their COs for either one of the above 2 giant, otherwise no vacancy arise, for WL Conversion to take place

Not really, recent years the competition is really between NYGH, RGS, MGS and NUSH.
More and more girls are thinking forward and going non-A levels route and swaying over to NUSH or IB (MGS) Route. So cannot keep saying, traditionally la, this year has a lot of shift in focus by the schools and the schools are really good in calculating the rate of CO rejection and WL conversion. Definitely not true. My son is not sg citizen and received CO.

High chance.
This was shared with me by another parent in 2016 when DS had a WL from DHS. And yes, DS was offered a place in DHS when the PSLE results came out.

Hi All, congrad to all parents who have already got confirm CO. For those who are still going through the interviews just wanted to give a heads up to DD that are interviewing for SAP schools. My DD went to interview at DHS for sport and was asked to do the interview in Mandarin which caught her off guard. Unfortunately, she was only able to converse 50% of the interview in Mandarin but we were proud that she persisted instead of freezing up ..
