I think if I go for the parent’s course and also teach her the rules at home, the improvement will be even better but I did not as I find it too ex. After 1 year plus now, I am wondering where to get her a private tutor who can help her w EL compo especially after she stops MSL later this year.

my daughter’s Pri 1 tch gave her comprehension, vocab and written expression worksheets without teaching her as homework. Is that normal in most school?

Let me know- I have a P1 girl too. It works for her but needs to practise a few times. Hope it works for your child.:)

Perhaps u can try to ask yr child to rephrase it such that the phrase is "number" goes to the back.


Eg.(a) 2 is ____ less than 10 becomes
2 less than 10 is ____

(b) 3 is 4 less than _____
3 less than ___ is 4

Tell yr child not to simply minus when he sees less than or add when he sees more than but read the pharse carefully.
