I have shortlisted Teck Ghee coz I like my kids to be in morning school. They can have the rest of the day to play and do other activities. And the family can have some quality family time in the evenings and during the weekends…(Hope I am not being too idealistic here).

But would you or other parents happen to know the reason behind the extended hours? Where is the value-add? Do they have longer sessions in class or rest time?

It’s been enlightening reading all your posts about the school. I am considering registering my girl for this school and am hoping if you can confirm what are the school hours for the Primary 1 kiddos? I read about the change but am not sure how it affects the p1 coz somewhere along the thread, it was mentioned that not all kids stay so late.

opps…I am a sahm with a girl aged 4 and a boy, 14 mth. Currently, we are overseas set for return only probably in time for school…no home in Sgp. And we are not sure where we will be staying in future.
