Assuming she gets into an IP school but can't cope with school work, will she be asked to drop to the O level track or change to another school (if the school does not offer O level track)? I understand some schools are strictly IP and do not have O level track, anyone can share any link where I can find this information?

There will be promotion criteria at each level and the criteria will be school-specific. While each IP school has its own policy, I think most will be quite similar to what RVHS stated in its FAQ below.

This environment comprises the form teachers, subject teachers and Year Master, and they monitor students' progress and decide on a remediation programme to help students when necessary. Coupled with strong home-school partnership, we are confident of helping our students to do well in the GCE A Level Examinations. Students who asked to leave RV typically do so because they want to pursue a course that is not offered in the A Level curriculum.

Note: DSA students are not eligible to transfer to other secondary or IP schools after acceptance of the Confirmed Offer.

The answer to your question \"will she be asked to drop to the O level track or change to another school\" is yes.
Not sure what link you are hoping to find, becos i think the bits n pieces of info on this topic are kinda scattered around in KSP forum.
Maybe your level of worry might be higher than necessary. First, the school will examine carefully your child's academic potential (as judged by P4-P6 results) and if they are not confident your child can cope, they might not make a DSA offer. Secondly, just like training hard to win in sports, secondary school academics requires hard work, so if you feel that the school is a good one and you or your child want to give it a shot, go for it but be prepared to put in the hard work.
