I see.. ok if academically both are comparable then yes there probably isn't a need to move house to get into PLMGS. unless it's moving house to try for St Nicks 2B 1km then I guess that's a different story altogether. thanks floppy and Zac's mum for your advice! I have more clarity now

yes we have a choice of 2B 1km to IJTP or move to 2C 1km of PLMGS
so wondering besides the values and culture of the schools, how do they compare with regards to academics and quality/standard of teaching etc?

I’m applying for my SG50 baby this year. Am considering PLMGS vs CHIJ (toa payoh). I know both schools have an excellent value-based system. May I know how does PLMGS and IJTP compare in terms of academic rigour, Chinese standards and opportunities for leadership?
