urgently need a dedicated English tutor (group tuition ) for SEc 2 G1 student .Any recommendation please.

Any appealed for Greendale sec or Punggol Sec ? got any result>? anxious....

i wrote 2 appeal letters,1 to greendale sec and 1 to punggol sec.im living in punggol so its best if i get in any one of them.i dun like the admin in greendale,:p as if i own he 1 million. the punggol sec wan veri friendly. actuali i wan to try pei hwa at sengkang also,i oredi get ready the appeal letter and docs,but jus find out their cop change to 173 liao.my dotter t score onli 156

anyone noe ? when i go appeal they say got 1 option form ,suppose to print out during tat day when we apply online.if din print out,they also wil send to our email,but i cannt find leh.help ,help!

so nw the school my dotter is keen in wan the psle cert and the top which we previously apply online the printout la.but… i forget to print out and nw dun hv top,hw huh ?


Another question is can i appeal to more than 1 school? Thanks !

Just been updated , according to the posted school , appeal is appeal for another school given by moe , cannot choose , even if approved might be even further from home , cannot reject .


2nd option call wish school to be put on waiting list , if lucky can get , if unlucky go bk to school posted to .

i spent the whole nite drafting out my letter of appeal to the school my dotter wish to get in. but tis morning i called the school ,hoping to arrange for a meetup with the principal ,but was rejected and said tat its on a waiting list.the bus journey trip took nearly 1.5hr to reach. i reali can imagine if it is my dotter… wat should i do ??

I believe that you should go to the school website (the one u want to appeal to). There should be a link to download the form. Then have to submit by Tuesday or Wednesday. Best is to call the general office for more information. Have to fill it up with all the stuff stated and wait for good news. Normally comes with interview.[/quote]

The posting result was disappointing , i place 4 schools which are further from our hse as 3rd choice to last choice , and the first 2 choice i put one of my eldest dotter school , but was given the last choice as posted school . Im talking abt my 2nd dotter . I called moe , they say can onli wait till we report at the posted school , to appeal for transfer . But i heard from my dotter's frenz say she wrote letter to moe straight away after she receive the posted results . Anyone hv experience of this? can share ? will writing letter help ? I realli wish my 2nd dotter can be the same school as my elder dotter , the posted school will be half an hour to 1 hour bus trip from our house ,moreover my dotter have asthma , but quite mild , im still worried , someone help me pls !! :udaman:

Believe that school transfer or appeal cases are mainly manage at school's administrative level and not at MoE yet.

procedure wise I believe it goes this way, you appeal to a school, if the school is willing take you in, they issue a transfer form to you for your existing school to sign off and chop to release you. then the appealed school will submit the form to MoE to finalise the transfer.

Hence not sure how helpful it can be by writing to MoE. Approaching the school that you wish to appeal might be more appropriate.

But how should we go about approaching the school we wish ? who should we look for , sorry but im very kiasu , very kanjiong
