      Hi,

Plan to travel to Tokyo / Osaka / Kyoto in Dec. As this is my first time planning to Japan, i would appreciate advice from parents here.

Is going 9d8n enough to Tokyo / Osaka / Kyoto ? ravelling with 3A and 2C. Do you think hotel can just look for a family room with 2 queen beds? The hotel won’t check right?

How do you all travel from Tokyo to Osaka? Go which station to take train ? How abt airport transfer, where u all book and if f&e how abt the tour, do u all go yourself or book local tour to bring u to some places?

      HI mummychua,

You have mentioned about yr 2 yr old boy playing in the warm pool. Is it without any clothes on?
Did you or yr hubby bringing along your boy as I understand that it has to be segregated into different gender? Can you share what is the retail therapy that you all tried? The toiletries are provided or we have to buy there?
As for Everland, when u were there, all attractions are open? Sorry for asking so much as I need to draft out my itinerary.
      Thanks!

      Hi faithgurl,

When is your travelling date? :please:

visiting everland could be freaking cold during winter. I was there ard the end of march, which is considered as the end of winter. the weather is quite nice in the morning and mid afternoon, but by evening it turn cold esp with wind blowing and there is not much shelter to hid.

i did visit dragon spa during my trip. its the only time during my trip i took a long long warm shower. and my 2yr old boy slept after playing in the warm pool and i took the chance to try diff sauna room. after the great shower and rest, we went for another round of retail therapy. a good 2-3hr spent there.
      Hi mummychua,

Did you wear uniqlo heattech? or another other thermal wear to recommend? Thanks for your advice ya 😄

      Hi chloecube,

That's my concern too and we are still contemplating whether to go or not. In fact, Everland is not in my initial plan but when I read about the attractions that they have, I thought it's quite a nice experience especially on the zootopia section. Another reason why we are still hesitating is because in winter season not all sections are open.

Anybody here who has been to Everland in winter season can share your experiences and advices? Thanks a lot!

Hi Hi, I also want to know as i will be going korea in winter December from 30 Nov to 10 Dec. How cold will it be during the 1st week of Winter and does anyone know if uniqlo heattech good enough for dec winter?

Please advice parents. Thanks Thanks :rahrah: :rahrah:

Yes included photography services. They will send you the soft copies via email right after the tour.

IC. Is the photos all nicely taken? :rahrah:

It really depends on your requirements. If you can go on foot , no problem with climbing up and down flight of stairs without escalators, walk long distance, definitely no problem with taking train.

but if you have elderly and young who cannot walk fast or too far, then i would suggest a private tour.

in fact, we also paid for the transfer to Everland by cab. We want to be there when it opened at 9am and play all the way to 10pm... and yet we dont want to worry about the transport back to hotel... i am really worried having to go on buses etc and figure our way back.
It was a really great experience to stay the whole day and watch the fireworks before we leave!

I got two young kids (7 & 11). Don't know if they can walk or not. :imcool:

BTW, \"This is Korea\" got photography service right? So they took many nice photos for your family? How do they return the photos to you?

by the way, if you are keen to watch the fireworks at everland and the show on the stage with unblocked view which takes place at 9.30pm (timing subjected to changes due to season), do pop over to Garden Terrace to place a dinner reservation. but you will need to order the set dinner meant for people sitting at the balcony... and pay in advance.. but you are assured of the unblocked view...

go for the dinner at 7pm, then leave a couple of bags in the restaurant to show that you still want the seat, then you can pop out to watch the night parade and play then come back to the seat to watch the fireworks thereafter.

with a child, we chose to pay for the transfer to everland because i dont think we are able to squeeze with the local on buses at 10pm... the cab journey back to Myeongdong is about 45 minutes.

How much you pay for the cab transfer and how did you find this cab? any website?

      Hi winnieng78,

After you have engaged 'This is Korea', how do you make payment? By cr card in USD or cash after the whole tour? :romance:
