We’re seeking a family to partner with for mutual tutoring. If you can provide English tutoring (once a week), we can offer Chinese tutoring at our home. Both children can learn and grow together.
About Us:
Our Child’s Background: my son is currently in Primary 4 at Canberra Primary School and will be in Primary 5 next year. We stay north near to Canberra MRT.
Successful Tutoring Experience: 1) math: We’ve been collaborating with another family from Nan Chiau Primary School since Primary 2. My husband teaches math Olympiads, while the other father teaches science. Their combined efforts have yielded excellent results, with both children winning gold, silver, and bronze medals in the SASMO competition over the past two years. Our child consistently ranks top in math, achieving a 98 score in the year-end math exam in Primary 4. 2) Chinese: I personally tutor comprehensive Chinese tutoring, covering basic Chinese, reading comprehension, writing (including vocabulary and sentence structure), recitation, and public speaking. My son achieved a 94 score in the year-end Chinese exam.
Given the positive results of small-group tutoring and the benefits of learning and playing together. We hope to find a family that can provide English tutoring. In return, we can offer comprehensive Chinese tutoring. If your child is interested, they can also sit in on my husband’s math Olympiad class. He can join in If he can keep up.
