If enter via cca will be under the DSA (Sports) route. For RG, there are currently 4 schools who accepts under DSA namely RGS, SNGS, CHIJ TP and St Margaret's.

There is a new RG club open in the West.

DSA is meant for secondary school right? What about primary school? Any such route other than the usual phase 1 to 3 kind of admission?

In a way if i be a sahm dd will still attend cc so i kind of take over mils job.

Just wondering why is there a need to continue with childcare?
The whole point of staying home is to spend quantity time with your dd, isn't it?
You can set some time to coach her at home if you worry about her not learning without childcare.

And if you need time off once a while, you can send her to your

The cc is more for my transition period thats y i decided to let her continue. In anycase that sahm does not work for me, at least there is no drastic change in dd's schedule. Becoz ive been working late frequently, half day home w dd is considered really gd vs when im working i only see her after her bed time. But then again stop working = lesser subsidy = heavier burden to hb.

      Thanks mummies for the advise.

I tried talking to hb so many times till we often quarrel. He doesnt doesnt stand my strong desire to be w my dd as my younger years i spent time w maid or nanny which I dn wan my dd to go through the same thing. I told him that she is a baby only once and she is my 1 and only daughter. But he feels that she is alrdy well taken care of (half day cc and half day w mil) why would I want to give up my career. In a way if i be a sahm dd will still attend cc so i kind of take over mils job.He said we should be earning more now for her future etc etc. perhaps its heavy on his pocket as well if I dont work. He has his point I have mine. So we often quarrel coz we cant find a balance.

Does ur hb gives "pocket money" on top of him paying all the expenses?
Coz hb told me the most he can give is a fixed amt every month and up to me to use but all bills have to be settled. And that left nothing for me.

And its coming yr end with the bonus increment n promotion. The longer I work the higher the salary the more difficult it is for me to quit and justify that I wanna be a sahm.
Working hours can cross mid night n yes weekends sometimes have to go back. I feel so burnt out that sometimes I have no energy to play w dd and am so guilty.
Flexi or part time in this co is impossible.

To add on he said if I wanna be a sahm we will stop at 1 due to high expenses.
      Haiz… I hope to have 2 kids =(

Do u all still send ur child to childcare even though u r a sahm?

I.e to get some personal space in the noon.
Is ur hb supportive of the idea of being a sahm?

Im deciding if I shud be a sahm. Currently working and drawing a not bad salary. Which hb says its a waste to quit. He says anyway his mum can help look after. And dd is currently attending a full day cc. Thou pay is not bad it comes with crazy working hours. At times I reached home and dd is alrdy sleeping. Next day mornig I have to rush to work and didnt have quality time w dd. I feel alot of guilt about not spending enough time in her growing years. On top of that there r jus afew things which I do not see eye to eye w my mil. And sometimes hb side her instead of me. So now I wa na take control of how I bring up my dd. But im so afraid that I cant do a gd job. And hb thinks that I do better in workforce than being a sahm.

I have also heard sahm losing herself, like day in day out it’s abt her children. Every topic is on diapers milk etc
Im so afraid that I might become like that too once i become a sahm as my life revolves around dd.

Since hb is not suppotive im not sure in the long run if we will quarrel even more frequently. Any sahm in the same situation before?

      Hi w3

How is ur child coping there? Did she/he enjoys her time spent in school?
My estimated starting date is around August, but till now there is no calls or updates from them.
I’ve tried approaching the principal directly and she told me the waiting time can be up to jan 2014.
Decided not to wait too long, I have registered my gal in another cc. 😃

i visited them as well… size of centre is still ok… i have seen alot smaller than that…

it looks kind of messy… and the toilet is mouldy…
undertsnad that the centre has been there for almost ten yrs… but the maintenance seems like not up to standard?
how is their control of HFMD etc?

other than the school looking messy, for the price, activity and program seems ok for me…

is ur child enrolled in that centre?
care to share if ur child enjoy the place?
