    • RE: All About Teaching Values

By being the real example in their life, by doing volunteering yourself, you are already teaching them what is the meaning of giving back to the society. That was my intention that is why I am a member of RC and CDAC. However sadly, but never lose hope, my friendly son who is 9 yo now kind of do not like to join the RC events anymore that he used to like when he was younger. That is why PA is very concern and that is how the "Youth Chapter" was birth to reach out to teenagers. However I noticed my son will happily join if his good friend coming along, I am planning to plan activities with his BFF parents soon. I did create Fun Volunteer with kiddos FB group but it is kind of inactive due to my busyness, shall revive it back soon. We can easily impart good values to our kids daily, anywhere, anytime, anyone. I get my kids to great the Town Council cleaner, be them local or foreigner. We appreciate them. I insisted to make ice Milo in a plastic bottle and pack some biscuits and trail this unauthorise seller who was paralyse on one side who came to my flat to sell something, we bought it thou I told my son it is more expensive than outside, however we pay for charity sake. We trace him and I ask my son to pass to the uncle and said thank you for working hard and being an Inspiritional model, thou my son is the friendly type, he still feel kind of awkward giving to a total stranger, the more I feel I need to expose him to such situation, cos otherwise his emotion and compassion will be paralyse(scare, shy) when his help is needed in public, eg: to help a handicapp person. My message, there is nothing to fear and we should respect them instead. I do not wish my kids to look at this so call "lower class" people that "kind" of look. That will really make me made, but it has to start from us parents to be good role model to them, Agree?
