Ok, I just had a call from the salesman to confirm that Searchingyou is right about the bulk purchase. This is the loop hole. Initially, I thought so that Joyymum was correct that we could not share the login when I spoke to the salesman this afternoon. However, he is kind to ring me up now to clarify this loop hole as his customers just did the bulk purchase from him and confirmed that. However, you can’t do so for online purchase at he told me because the login ID will be tied to that person’s account.

Yes, bulk purchase would be cheaper. The more titles you purchase to share the cost, the cheaper it would be for the cost of each title.


For example (without the Samsung tablet as a free gift), to purchase 4 core titles:
1st core title is fix price at $496.
2nd title onwards is entitled for a 40% discount.
If you have a Maybank or Citibank Credit Card (SMART), you are entitled another 5% discount for spending a minimum of $500 on your credit card.

So, the cost for 4 core titles would be: 496 + (49630.6) = $1388.80
With additional 5% discount from the credit card, it would be (1388.800.95) = $1319.36.
Each core title would cost (1319.36/4) = $329.84.

However, if you have more people sharing, for example to purchase for a total of 7 core titles, it would only cost, ((496 + (4966*0.6))*0.95)/7 = $309.64/core title.

As for the Samsung tablet, if you want to get this "free" gift, you have to make a purchase of 2 core titles at the price of $496 without any discount. Only subsequent third title onwards you will be entitled to a 40% discount and a one-time $50 discount. So, the price of this tablet is not free to me, the price was already embedded into the 2nd core title full price you are paying.

For your info, you can also continue to enjoy the 40% discount on the next core titles within a month after you have purchased at least 2 core titles.

So, I am interested to join in for the bulk purchase too!
