BigDad:I have pmed you my child's details.Hi,
Anyone wants to join me for group of 4 for P6 intensive compo class?
Can be tas or non tas students.
Hi TAS,
Are you having holiday classes this year?
Can I also know if your east location would be around kembangan area or tampines? Helping my sister and her friends to ask. East is good, a lot of good schools there.
By the way, another question, I saw when I went for trial that TAS has book borrowing, may i know how it works Do all kids borrow? What kind of books do they borrow, i hope not geronimo stilton books.
coolit:Wow, A Star! That is impressive. So although your eldest was strong in his language, he did not join NSA but joined the normal class?
One is in sec 1, one P5 and one P1. Sec 1 was in TAS till P6, he really enjoyed his classes there. He managed to get an A star, which I attribute to his time in TAS. He has always been quite ok with English, but cannot score very high for his compo and compre. So I felt TAS really helped him brush up these areas.
P5 one is not as strong in the language as her brother. However, I see improvement in her synthesis and compo and compre. Not expecting an A star from her though.
P1 one just joined middle of this year.
My kids were all in normal classes but P5 one joined NSA for holiday progs and I liked the class, it made her think and she also liked it but she cannot afford the time to go for both normal and NSA classes and since her foundation is not as strong I chose normal classes. NSA is more like an enrichment and normal classes are more like tuition.
Hi coolit,
How old are your kids and how do they find TAS? Did you see improvement in their paper 1 and 2? Are your kids in creative writing classes or normal classes or NSA?
One mother's sentiments which I agree with whole-heartedly

Thank you TAS parents for sharing. I went for trial and so far so good. I quite like their teaching strategy and materials. I heard they used to have referral, is it still on?
