Does anyone has any problem bringing your kids for the P1 learning trail? I am a workig mum and times and again the planning of the school left me bewildered!

The CCA that my son brought back was held in the morning and the COMPULSORY P1 trail is also held in the morning! Since these activities are meant to develop the child holistically, why cant the school planned the trail in the afternoon / during curriculum?

As for CCA, I have known other schools who go all the way out to make school bus transport arrangement for their pupils for such events. I wonder is this going to be the norm for JPS? Any takes from anyone?

      My 2 boys (N2 & K2) attend Lorna Whiston @ United Square since Jan'09.
My opinion so far so good. No commend.
My boy, who's K2, is in LW for 2 terms before I withdrew him with no regrets šŸ˜„ The K2 EL enrichment is covering just the basic which is being taught in his kindergarten as well. During his first term, the teacher was constantly not around and her marking was flawed. For the amt of $$ that I am paying, I think they did not deliver - so what if they have native speaker? That does not mean that they are committed to their work. Thank god the teacher was terminated by the end of T2 b(not sure if anyone else besides myself gave feedback to the centre).

For T3, the Trc was present weekly h/w the content of the prog does not stretch my boy beyond what he knows in school.

Still looking around for good enrichment for him.
