Most kids need tuition… but the tutor can either be the parents themselves or outsource to external.
Just like all houses need someone to clean. Either you clean yourselves or hire domestic helper or part time cleaner.
So whether u need to employ external help for tutoring depends on your available time, how well you can tutor your kids urself and the $$ u willing to spend if u outsource it.
For me, if the financial situation allows it, I will outsource the formal tuition needs and spend my time to coach my kids on their soft skills and character building.

RE: I Can Read - Discussion
I cant seem to get the ICR syllabus online…
Parents with kids in ICR, appreciate if you can share if ICR is all about phonics or do they combine phonics & sight words?
Do they actually teach the kids to read in real life or do they simply teach phonics? -

RE: All About Right Brain Training
Righ brain training schools have been around for more than 10 years now…
any parents whose kids attended right brain training for 3 years or more during pre school years - Long after graduating/stopping, when they are in primary or even secondary school, what differences can we expect compared to those who don’t? -
RE: [Punggol] Primary Schools
Yes, it was quite crowded at the oasis/waterway roadshow when I was there around 9ish.
By the way, why is Horizon so popular? I only know of 1 parent who send their kids there are the school seem to push the kid quite hard acedemically n asking the parents to get tuition for the P1 kid. Is that the reason why its popular? Its actually a turn off for me. -
