Can anyone confirm if the cca chinese dance instructor, the person who will be teaching the students in DHS, is a male? My friend called the school. The school staff who answered her call, thinks the cca chinese dance instructor is a male. I still don't believe it. After all the staff said she THINKS is a male.

During dance audition at DHS yesterday, there were a pregnant lady and a man sitting there to grade the shortlisted dancers according to her.

Hi i can confirm the instructor is a male as my son's classmate is in the Chinese dance and has checked with her.

Anyone knows, for HCI and VS: sport domain,
Commitment to the sport is 4 years or 6 years if the child is entered via DSA sports?

It depends if you are going for IP or not. For HCI, it is 6 years.. for VS, if one opt for o level stream, then 4 years

I understand that CCA commitment for DSA students is for 4 years. CCA is JC is optional.

Just received email from DHS for Chinese dance audition on 10 Jul

My DS got CO from HCI.

I called DHS this morning and was told that the DSA results will be sent to all applicants (both successful and not successful) by post (snail mail) on 31 /8 in one whole batch. All should receive it by early Sep. No email or sms will be sent.

A friend told me that last week she attended the Parents briefing for his S1 son in DHS. The principal told the audience that the school received about 1000 DSA applications this year but they only can take in 170 . Hence, the chances of being selected is less than 1 in 5. So, for those aiming for DHS, need to manage expectation.

HCI PSG is very strong and on. Chairman is very impressive.

My DS took on 10 Jun. But I think it doesn't matter which date you took the GAT, all shortlisted applicants will be informed by today.

No, they will not send rejection email according to the staff I talked to.
