Is this good results? Saw from the other link, most JCs got 85?

I only know HCI hit 85 this year. Many other JCs got less. Many are 80 and below. Where you get the information that most JCs got 85? 😂

I saw in another link about A level results 2019... a few listed JCs 84 to 85....but I not sure leh cos I saw Ejc is 82.4.....pls pardon me 🙂
Ermm I did not see any that was below 80 maybe not listed or what...

    • RE: All About Recreational Swimming

      Hi swimironkids,

If my child does not go for the swims after test, how do I know if he is swimming correctly? Is the test a good indication? Cos I notice a lot of adults are not swimming correctly also…

      Dear all,

My child 8 year old does not enjoy swimming lessons with his current coaches, 2 coaches in the group, very inconsistent in teaching method. I have been observing coaches at the swimming pool. Noticed that in a class of 10, there are like 2 coaches? And think the more prominent is Singapore swimming academy and happy fish? My friend told me about uncle penguin but i could not find any reviews about him. Any reviews about these 2 swimming groups? And please also recommend good coaches. .

my criteria is to be able to have make-up lessons, coaches who can motivate and deliver the lesson properly and be consistent in the teaching of swim strokes.

Please pm me for bad reviews of any swimming schools if u are not comfortable to post in this forum.

      Appreciate greatly.

    • RE: How to motivate a child

      Hi,

I really need help for my son who is terribly unmotivated. He is 8 years old. He does not like to learn at all. Sometimes when we are too angry to keep correcting his mistakes, he will even ask why we stop correcting him even though he is wrong. He knows his mistakes but refuse to correct them. For eg, when playing Frisbee, he refused to listen to us to do the proper way of throwing it even though he can get it right but he just want to do it in his way which is wrong. His classmates even mocked him for the way he played, so he just stop playing but he still refuse to correct it. All his attitudes towards sports, academic are the same. He refused to listen to us even though we had proven him wrong and he also suffered because of it. But he still won’t change. Sigh. …I really at my wits end. Anyone can help me?

      Hi Momofone,

Thanks for your reply! Is it dangerous for the kids to learn there since the group is so big. I believe the lesson is not effective since it can take about 6mths to a year to learn swimming… These only consist of about 6lessons…

Is the sch going to change principal soon?

I thought there is a term for principal…
I dislike the long hours of this sch… They didn’t do much in sch work.
The longhours plus super long lunch break of 40min succeeded in tiring out my kid.
The sch relies heavily on parent volunteers to look after the pupils during both recesses. There are times u can’t even see one volunteer at the sports hall where accidents and fights occur. When children feedback the bad rude behaviour, teacher will say " never mind"… Unless parents complained, then teachers will get that child to apologized. Children can be left in the class without a teacher for a whole subject period bcos that teacher is busy at other place…
I am seriously considering to withdraw…
I like to say maybe not all teachers are like this… But my kid’s teachers are, except for Chinese teacher…
