Does anyone know of any programme/s out there that cater specially to left-handed kids? Wife and i are right-handers and are teaching our left-hander just fine but I just wonder if there are such classes out there. Teacher who is left handed teaching an entire class of left-handers to write, won't make my boy feel that he is the odd one out...

How old is your kid anyway? I am a left hander, and I used to help in a child/student care and guided 3-4 years old to write with their left hand. I remember my dad guiding me with his left hand holding my left hand a little when I was much younger, but I picked it up myself eventually. Actually everything is the same, other than the smearing marks if your hand rubs your own writing

Personally if anything, I feel it is the EFFORT made in writing, the curve of the alphabets, the straight lines integrated. The results would then appear as how neat and nice the words turn out to be.

Try writing with your left hand really slowly, you will realize its not impossible to pick up. By the way when I was in secondary school, I got bored and taught myself to focus and write with my RIGHT hand. With practice, I can write with both hands Try it!
