Did you end up switching child care centres?

Have u decided which centre to send your boy to?

I wanted to send my 2 year old DD to Learning kidz Tampines Hub as it was recommended by a Friend but they’re full. I called Learning Kidz Tampines Plaza, spoke to someone briefly on the phone. She called me the next day to let me know there’s one vacancy but she needs me to reserve it straightaway. Problem is - I’ve just gone thru surgery and can’t get out of bed yet. Explained my situation to her - that I’m on hospitalisation leave now after a major surgery so I can’t go to the centre just yet - but she doesn’t seem to get it. She keeps telling me “you’re working right, so if u can go to work then u can come to the centre!”

Anyway I also called Childfirst@Tampines. The last I spoke to over the phone was a lot more professional. She advised me her colleague will get back to me with details via email and that we can schedule a centre visit when I am better. So far my gut feel is that Childfirst is so much better but the only thing is the fees.

Supposed to decide by the end of today if I want to take up that space at Learning Kidz Tampines Plaza! Any advice? :?:

I m headache in choosing child care center for my boy who is turning to 18th month old next month.

My child is currently at Learning Kidz (Tampines Plaza branch) but we've observed that staff turnover is pretty high. We enrolled when the centre just opened and were pretty happy with it overall, however standards seem to have gone downhill. A lot of the \"better\" teachers have been posted to the Tampines Hub branch (just opened Q4 2016) - whether this is temporary/permanent I have no clue. We are actually seriously considering whether to switch to another school.
