Went to collect my son's results earlier, so happy now.. He got into 3G. Just hope he continues to work hard..

Since your gal is in the top class this year too, is it very stressful?

Yes. My DD is going P3 next year. According to her form teacher, 3G is the top class, followed by 3F. 3A - 3E is mixed ability classes which are evenly distributed with good, average and weak students with didn’t managed to get Band 1 for all subjects.

I just got Frontier Pri School brochure from my DD's kindergarten yesterday. Have read through and realise that the appointed Principal - Mr. Martin Koh is an Ex-VP of River Valley High School and the registration will be held at West Grove Primary on 18 July 2011 under Phase 2B.

I got both Xingnan Pri sch and Frontier Pri sch brochures from my DD's kindergarten.
So are you going to Xingnan pri sch Open house?

Hi Dec, i joined Jurong West Primary as a PV in July 2010 and have completed more than 40 hours of voluntary service at the school so currently only waiting to register my DD on 18 July 2011 under Phase 2B. However, according to the Principal, PV does not guarantee a place in the school. If the number of applicants in Phase 2B is more than available places in 2B, then we might need to ballot. So i think if i'm unsuccessful in Phase 2B, i will consider to register my DD to Xingnan Primary or Frontier Primary as response for Phase 2C in both Jurong West Primary & West Grove Primary are often overwhelming and have a very high tendency of going into balloting again. By the way, which kindergarten is your DD in? My DD'S Kindergarten only give Xingnan Primary brochure. :sad:

I also received the frontier primary school brochure yesterday!
It's seem like the school has a better facilities and environment from what I have read from it!
Now I'm considering between West Grove pri and Frontier Pri...

West grove is nearer to my house but i might have to ballot >1km under 2C
Frontier will be under 2B.
