Does she have score near the estimated Cedar COP? Or participated external competition?Hi! My daughter has received a CO for Cedar Netball. Due to covid, she hasn't played any official nsg games or competitions since the beginning of p5! She is, however, a member of an external netball association so maybe they took that into consideration. She also told me that the interview for DSA was very thorough and detailed and they asked her many questions and she had to perform quite a few drills. I realised that there were a few teamwork and character questions like how would you describe your character, etc. I haven't noticed the school report book with regards to school team though she has been in the school team since p4.Nosferatu\" post_id=\"2038142\" time=\"1631696058\" user_id=\"90098:
Experienced mums and dads who have DC received CO for sports domain, please share whether your DC has competed NSG in P5 and P6. And whether DC's school has any zonal award or external competition to boost the chance of receiving interview and CO. I know that some sports do not have NSG this year due to covid restrictions. How has this impacted your DSA sports outcome? Does the school report book mention NSG/school team?
I have been wondering for sports domain, without NSG for some sports or incomplete competitions this year, how do the sec schools sieve out the thousands of applications to shortlist our DC for interview? There is no NSG for junior division this year and there may be a possibility that primary school NSG will not be held next year too given the exponential rise of covid cases recently and non-vaccination of pri sch kids.
They depend a lot on coaches’ recommendation. For some schools, they will ask to submit short clip of actions taken during trainings and friendlies as supporting.
