hi yippie131,i am referring to the one of their franchise childcare centers. Kinderland academy at cresent road. It is a childcare. Not sure if this is the one you are referring to as i know their is another kinderland at near parkway parade.
The one at cresent is called kinderland academy. The principal is called Khairun. Is that the one you called up?

RE: [Bedok/Katong/Marine Parade/Siglap] Preschools
Don’t be fooled by kinderland academy’s on the whole curriculum or safe caring environment as the principal claims. Visited during lunch and was shocked at the food being served to the children there. Plain rice, almost water clear soup and sausages in some kind of tomato sause. When i looked at the menu, they were supposed to be serving claypot rice on that day.
While checking around with other freinds who used to have kids in kinderland, they commented that they have a high withdrawal rate due to the menu. Food is not healthy and the school is stingy with the portions given to kids.
Also, the teacher put a nice sweet front infront of parents. But behind closed doors there is alot of shouting and even the teacher tease the children( got this info from the kitchen aunt who used to work there). The principal is also ver pretentious and i can tell frm the way she suddenly shows attention to the kids infront of us parents. Kind of sick actually.
I won’t pay so much to put my child in a so called "branded" school when such things are going on behind closed doors. -
RE: [Serangoon/Paya Lebar] Preschools
maybe some good news for you,i visited Smartgro and i like their style also. The teacher are friendly and also caring. The school looks equally good inside. I walked in with the pincipal into the class and the teacher was conducting a very intersting lesson inside.

A very nice environment and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The school is air-conditioned and clean 2.
now i got to choose between elfa and smart gro

RE: [Serangoon/Paya Lebar] Preschools
i myself have been looking around for a center in upper serangoon. I did visit masterpeice but not very keen about it,teacher turn over is high. Also the school in not air conditioned and i noticed lots of mosquitoes there. It is costly due to their association with pats schoolhouse.
I would recommend and choose elfa. The teachers are friendly and i looked thru their menu and curriculum which to me suits what i want for my child
