TBH, I don't think there will be many comments on YISS.

It was https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/move-punggol-expected-bump-falling-intake-yusof-ishak-sec-sch to bump up it's falling intake. Essentially, YISS is a totally NEW school with an OLD names most of the teachers and NONE of the students were brought over from Jurong to Punggol. The name was only retained for obvious reason. 2023 would only be its 3rd intake.

I think popular recommendations for schools in the NE would be NCHS, Xinmin, Zhonghua etc.
Thanks for your inputs! Will be looking at those mentioned schools!

Hi everyone! Seeking your kind comments and help for selection. DD scored AL11. Wanted to go to Yusof Ishak due to the new school campus. Any comments for YISS? Also, any good recommendations for schools in North East area? Thanks!

      Hi Parents,

Anyone going to enroll their DD or DS to P1 Waterway Primary school for year 2019? Any feedback about this school from the existing parents? TIA
Its a new primary school that has a certain energy and vibe to it. What I like is that there is a program that encourages kids to pick up public speaking. Introduction to robotics too. At Primary 2 level šŸ™‚

I am also keen to enrol my twins to Waterway Primary but our address fall under 1-2 km in Phase 2C, heard that Waterway was over-subscribed last year, is it?

      Nope, it was not over-subscribed

To all parents of current students,

How do you find the air and noise pollution since there is big plot of land next door that is undergoing Construction?

Are the students able to hear the teachers clearly and vice versa? Are the classroom windows open or closed when classes are ongoing and are there any air purifiers installed? Are PE lessons held Outdoors?
The noise can be quite loud. But once the foundations are done, it should be less. THe noisier thing is from the fighter jets taking off. Its LOUD....
