There is quite a distance from the construction sites to the school. I don't think it's a concern.

Just wondering if we sld just consider other schools and save the effort of making a trip to MOE to make the declaration...

Will the grandparents be looking after your son? If so, you need the Statutory Declaration regardless which school you apply to, right?

Grandparents live in hougang and I'm staying in Sengkang, so alternative would be to register for a school near my place in Sengkang and arrange for DS to take school bus to grandparents place after school.

Holy innocents is the only Pri sch within 1 km of grandparents place (the other one is a girls sch) hence we're only considering this school.
