I've juz called e student care beside e Sch.

Opening hours (during Sch days):
12:30 - 6:30pm/7pm (30mins grace period)

For Sch holidays their operating hr:
7:30am - 6:30pm/7pm

What will b provided:
- 1 lunch
- 1 tea break
- supervision of homework
Their role is only to supervise & will not teach e child.

They will send & fetch e child to & fro from e Sch.
Parents will hv to provide timetable if there's any CCA involved.

Monthly fee: $520

There will be an additional fee of $90/subject if u required any coaching/tutoring of their Sch work.

Considering that I pay $460 monthly for Chinese and Math tuition for DD, I think this is quite reasonable. But of course, you have to look at whether the centre's tutors are able to bond with and teach your child.

If I were to place DD there I'll save on transport.
Ratio wise, they've only 14 students now which is good.
But comparing the rates outside, I find e price a bit steep since it does not cover coaching/tutoring.

Then again like u mentioned, bonding & environment plays an impt role for student care too.
Need to pop by e centre b4 giving further review on e centre.

Just a question for swimming, do they conduct their lesson nearby e Sch & may I know e timing & frequency?

Cos I'm a FTWM & logistics wud b a problem for me.

Swimming is conducted at Katong Swimming Complex every Monday (for this year, at least, not sure if it will change next year). However sometimes the bus from swimming back to the school arrives late, and the homebound school bus departs before the kids come back. When this happens, we usually have to pick DD up ourselves. Luckily, we live just a stone's throw away so it's just a 10-15 minute walk. We are training her to walk home by herself. If you live quite far away from the school, it might be a problem.
