Is NT13000 reasonable for 9 seater van from Taipei to CJ, next day from CJ to SML then to Taichung? No tours are involved, only hiring of the 9 seater and the driver.

im already paying 5500 from HL to CJ via Taroka Gorge, one way for 3. Yours is a 9 seater van, somemore from Taipei. think the price is reasonable. when are you travelling, btw?

I have just booked echo villa for my trip in Dec. It is very difficult to book and only open up for booking 3 mths ahead. Only has 5 rooms. As a backup, I had booked star and mist in case I couldn't get echo villa. Now I'll be cancelling my star and mist booking.

For hualien im thinking to stay at bayview hotel or lohas hotel..anyone stay at these 2 hotels before?

My driver suggested bayview, i guess it has got fantastic seaview but hubby prefers somewhere closer to town..
Saw one with full glass overlooking breathtaking greenery... but out of my budget :gloomy:

Just to share with you my itinerary...
1st day arriving Taoyuan, we will head to Taichung.
Engaged driver for 4 days tour to Alishan, Sun Moon Lake, Cingjing and Hualien from 17th Nov till 20th Nov... Quoted TWD 18,000. Accomodation, we have to book ourself... so far, all my accomodations is booked... left Hualien...
from 21st Nov onwards, will be Free and easy at Taipei..

went to 2 major tour agencies today. am thinking to take up a family friendly land package. will be joining the package tour group from here at taoyuan airport. instead of taking SQ to TW, i'll take budget since its only a 4hr flight.
